For the more sporty, walk or cycle along the 750 km of marked trails that stretch over the Doux valley. Discover the different species of trees and plants in the region by following the arboretum, the botanical path along the Daronne (tributary of the Doux).
For the youngest, you can participate all year round in the RandoTub’, fun and family hikes on marked and secure paths that make walkers aware of the environment through a dozen questions on fauna and flora (questions children and adults).
During the beautiful days, take advantage of the many lakes and rivers around you to swim: the Grangeon beach in Satillieu, the lake of Retourtour in Lamastre, the Salins beach in Désaignes…
For the most gourmands, the village of Saint Félicien welcomes every Friday morning the weekly market and every Sunday morning the market of the local producers on the place of the Town hall. You will be able to taste many gastronomic specialities of the region such as the “sweet curd” of Saint Félicien and the picodon (goat’s cheese), the caillette (cold meats) and the fouasse (traditional pastry) as well as the typical fruits of the region (peach, apricot, cherry).
